Beat Makers:Beat Maker

I am wanting to create my own beats for some songs I’m making. I want to have drums and bass and what not, and hoping to find a free one. Is there such a thing?

(PS. I used acid xpress 7.0 and it wouldn’t let me use the drum kit synth, so yeah if there is anything easier to use please let me know)
