These are the drawbacks as compared to the beat thang which is one of the hottest beat makers out today. Also a new beat maker for the same price as the Sonic Producer just dropped and it handles a lot of these drawbacks listed below….but I haven’t heard any sounds from the dub turbo demo’s that I like better than what comes with the Sonic Producer or Beat Thang Programs, there may be some hot sounds though…cause it comes with more than the sonic producer…and you can also upload your own to the Dub turbo beat maker and of course to the Beat Thang .

yes there are many…..if you have a computer and want to use it to make beats…..your options are many……I use several, as well as some hardware devices like the mpc2000 and such…..I even sometimes use my motif modules for just beats…..those things sound awesome…..and have so many loops pre programmed for you…….

Now days…….most major labels are doing one song deals…..averaging about 75,000 dollars per song deal……of course these are the major players offering these deals…..Atlanta is one of the hot spots for finding these type of one song label deals, as is many of the other major cities….. I advise you to already have a good sounding demo done….It has become the standard since there are home studios on almost every block now days….you can google record labels and come up with some.
Of course a lot of the labels you may come with after googling are not worth the time to even read there name…..the only thing you can do is try and contact them and find out for yourself…….Another good way to get yourself heard is to network….with radio stations …internet radio …college stations and so on….as well as doing live shows any and everywhere…..you never know who you might meet…..I know of many artist who have worked with top notch labels that met them at talentshows
Of course the one song deal standard is mostly happening in the hip hop realm of music……pop , rnb , gospel and so on are still doing the traditional contract for artist deals….but I suspect they will to be following the rap type of contracts soon being that the industry is becoming more and more volatile everyday.
There are also many websites you can go to to get rap instrumentals from if you do not want to create your own beats….of course they usually charge for you to get the beats for download so that you can rap to the complete instrumental…..but you can listen to part of the beats before buying them to see if you like them…..all you have to do is type hip hop instrumentals or rap instrumentals into the google search bar and all types of hip hop instrumental websites will come up….
I forgot to mention that these one song deals as of right now mostly is applying to the hip hop world…..most other record labels are still doing traditional deals as of now…..of course there are exceptions…and I see this changing in the near future…..

That is a good question…lol…..The answere at this time is no……although….I do make lots of extra money when i choose to from making beats…..but i do also have a regular 9 to 5 that pays on time everytime…..lol…Our production company is on a mission to become worldwide known……not in the business of selling and making beats…..this is the main reason why it is not how I make a living….among other things.
I agree…the sonic producer is a basic program and really simple to use…..but you must realize a lot of people who are new to the game don’t have a lot of money and no idea on how to make beats…..that is where the sonic producer can be of some help….it is a starter beat maker….then you can build from there….or if you already good at it….you can use it as a scratch pad or a way to play around with some new ideas….it has good sounds. We use everything you have and more…so we know!

i dont mean to diss or fuck your ur roll ir nuttin but the best beat program is the beat thang u can get the virtual and the hardware for prett cheap the software is 150 + tax and the hardware is 999 +tax
I agree that the beat thang is a much better program as far as options, as well as more advanced than the sonic producer, but the price is also 4x higher even for the software version. I would advise anyone to get it if they can afford it. But if not….The sonic producer is a ok starting point for new people joining the game…and its really cheap.
There are also many more beat makers on the market that can hang with the beat thang….but the prices are also up there. The beat thang is backed by a good marketing campaign that is helping it stand out for now. It is a hot program, and worth the price…but it is not the only one!
i agree but u buy quality and beat thang has got quality once i get a job again im gonna buy one thats the onl6y thing ill settle for cuz my buddys got and its of the hook and the give about $1700 worth of products

Sonic producer as far as features go is not better than fl studio…..just like most things in life…you get what you pay for….with that being said…let me also stress that you can still get good results with sonic producer…but you have to work harder to do so…..I also want to announce that I will be rolling out a new product that makes beats that is as good or better than both of those programs for hip hop beat makers…so stay tuned…..
