The sonic producer is  one of the best beat makers when it comes to sounds considering the price of the program which is only 29.95…..of course the New Beat Thang  Program is the overall best beat maker on this page, which you can read about below, but it cost a bit more for now…..I recently got word that there will be a cheaper model released soon of the Beat thang…but back to the Sonic Producer which is  ..Less than it cost to go on a cheap date!… To get one and start making beats right now, or to visit the official website click here or the Sonic Producer Banner Above.  If you are new to beat making or cannot afford a much better beat maker like the Beat Thang described below….then the sonic producer is a good way to get started…. Click the banner below to go to the official Sonic Producer Website or read on to learn more from an experienced producer.

These are the drawbacks as compared to the beat thang which is one of the hottest beat makers out today.  Also a new beat maker for the same price as the Sonic Producer just dropped and it handles a lot of these drawbacks listed below….but I haven’t heard any sounds from the dub turbo demo’s that I like better than what comes with the Sonic Producer or Beat Thang Programs, there may be some hot sounds though…cause it comes with more than the sonic producer…and you can also upload your own to the Dub turbo beat maker and of course to the Beat Thang .

• Although the sounds are off the chain…they are in compressed mp3 format only
• You will have to create patterns one at a time and then paste them into  a sequencer one at a time, if you have a song with beats that change up
• Program only works while online….which also sometimes causes timing lag when playing beats or editing….Clears up once saved though
• Cannot upload your own samples to the sonic producer….
• Limited when it comes to making songs that require sustained notes
• Will have to pay more money to learn about other techniques and better ways of making beats which is done with upsells from the Sonic Producer team. Dont have to worry about this if you purchase the Beat Thang ….comes with more than you need without up sells ( paying more money for more advanced advice or sounds)

Despite these downfalls…..this simple to use beat maker is well worth the cheap price. The sounds along are…they were crafted by experienced engineers! If you are new to beat making, these limitations wont matter to you much starting off anyway…..but there are some people who prefer to start with all the options, this usually means paying a bit more…..

DubTurbo beat maker is the same price as the sonic producer, but is a much newer beat maker…It was just released recently, and has many more features that are not found on the Sonic Producer. • Uses uncompressed sound files for a more polished and cleaner sound. This may not matter as much if you only do hip hop beats….but still worth noting

• Can create realistic sounding r n b , pop, and other styles of music that require notes that hold for long periods.
• virtual keyboard included to help with making beats of all styles.
• Can use online or offline. Offline version runs on your computer for much better response time and no lag when loading program with lots of information.

Also check out the Sonic Producer Site and Beat Thang Web site also …and then make your choice.  They truly give you more than your money’s worth with this program without trying to up sell you on anything. I have only two gripes about this beat maker. My first one is the same as with the Sonic producer…..you can only make one set pattern, and there are no ways to build a song with changes in the music, although I am not sure if this beat maker will let you extend the number of bars you can use, if so…that would be a nice work around to making changes in a song. My second grip is I have not heard any sounds that I really like in the demos for this beat maker…..but I am sure there are some with all the many sound libraries that come with this beat maker. Beat Thang is the most advanced and of course the best of the three beatmakers on this page……. although it is also the most expensive. I would have to say the the Dubturbo is the best bang for the buck because you get so many features for only about 30 dollars……I think Sonic Producer has the hardest hitting sounds.for the same price…I ordered one just to sample the sounds and use them in my production modules! …..But Beat Thang has it all right out of the box. although it cost a bit more, it is well worth every penny if you are serious about making professional beats.

There are two types of  beat thang beat makers you can get…..You can get the virtual beat thang beat maker which is a beat thang program you run on your computer like the other  beat makers on this page…….It cost about 150.00 to get the beat thang for your computer. It comes with a ton of sounds and more bonuses that I care to mention in this little article. I would advise you to visit the site after reading this  to see all the stuff you get. Makes the purchase even more worth the money. The second type of beat thang you can get is the hardware version which is a stand alone unit. I think it sales for around a thousand dollars, which is a lot more than the virtual version. They both look and work basically the same way.

I need help finding a DAW enough to make music. HELP ?!?!?

I posted this on Yahoo Answers: What good is the best music production software on the market? I need something easy … beginners, but with a variety of sounds … instrumental (all instruments of their basic rock sax cello and harp) and the sounds of electronic music and rhythms as well. I looked around online, but you can never tell with ads … we assume that all vehicles in their market as first class so I like listening to someone with experience. Thank you:) "finished MAGIX Music Maker 16 and the choice is not bad, but I wanted a system that had more individual notes and the key instruments that have been chained in a way to make my own songs … while the manufacturer of music to manipulate bits reconstructed if. Like the best features and the simplicity of this program, but would not be able to start from scratch … cable as an encyclopedia or something.

Try Native Instruments Kontakt and Logic. You can use a MIDI keyboard or a device EWI with them. I use a keyboard M-Audio USB and 4000 Akai Akai EWI and with two applications.
